No matter what it is I’m doing I find it always helps me to make a record of the journey I am on so I can record my progress. This not only motivates me to keep going but also to improve. It allows me to appreciate from whence I have come when the new, fitter, slimmer, more balanced me forgets the train wreck that was.
I take photographs, make massive use of the amazing apps out there which are usually free, invest in tools like my Fitbit for counting my steps and I have a watch that records my swimming. I also use good, only fashioned methods of writing down my progress on a daily basis. I have tried journals but as yet not found one I like, well I have but it was £30 for a month! Present me thinks.
So if you are struggling on whatever journey you are taking try find an easy, fun way in which to capture the progress you make so you can reflect on it and enjoy your success, when it comes.
