Angelique Panagos Plan – Week 1

Amazing breakfasts, interesting smoothies and filling meals.
As I glide towards the end of the first week I cannot help but reflect on how easy it has been to follow the plan, albeit with a little creative licence. I absolutely loved the Rainbow Slaw, Chicken stir fry and this mornings pancakes which I had to admit I had with a small portion of baked beans, avocado and a few slices of bacon (I know this is not quite how it was meant to be had.
Its now the weekend and I am winding down but also having to think ahead to next week. Luckily I prepared the granola a week or so ago and it is keeping brilliantly, I’ve also still got the pesto I made and some of the hummus so I really don’t think there is much to do for week 2 just now. My weight shot up at the beginning of the week but I think that was as a result of my birthday indulgences, now it has started to fall off again slowly. I have to admit to feeling really energised and my brain seems to be able to keep going for a lot longer than usual. I keep telling myself that my daily dose of Angelique’s Immune Booster Tonic is the reason for that.
On a very personal note, sorry to sensitive readers but this bit is important, Angelique does encourage one to review the shape of ones poo! This has been a little up and down and I think that depends on the fibre intake. I don’t seem to be able to tolerate too much so I need to be careful about the amount of smoothies I have me thinks. I’ve eaten very little red meat, bar the biltong I have just polished off as a Saturday treat!
On the whole I have stuck to the golden rules which are no gluten, no dairy and no coffee. The no sugar one is one I already live by so that was not one I need to add in. I am exercising every morning but am not getting the walks I usually enjoy or swimming done. Which I need to address. Other than that it is the big thumbs up for the plan and roll on week 2.
